CPI has an immediate need for an Assembler/Packer in CPIs New Bern , NC location.As a CPI Assembler/Packer you will occupy a key role in working with and for a company that builds the physical infrastructure that powers, protects and secures the worlds digital technology. Day to day, you will be responsible forrepetitive assembly of products, parts, or materials by using hand tools, small power tools, fixtures, adhesives, and fasteners to specific standards in a safe and efficient manner to produce products, parts and/or materials according to production standards and schedules. Responsible for meeting safety, quality and productivity expectations. Prepares product for shipping. Performs production tasks assigned by Team Leader.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Under direct supervision, operates equipment and performs production tasks as assigned.Notifies Team Leader of any safety issues that need to be corrected prior to performing operations.Notifies Team Leader or Quality Assurance Inspector of any quality and/or mechanical problems that need to be resolved. Team Leader and/or Assembler/Packer II will make minor repairs and equipment adjustments, as needed.Certifies that each product has completed Quality Assurance processes via Quality Stamp.Works from production schedules and/or as directed by Team Leader.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:Continuously maintains a clean work area. Disposes of trash, production scrap and material drop-off. Assists in cleaning common areas.Performs other related duties, as assigned by management.QualificationsCore Competencies:Ethics, Values, Integrity and Trust - Adheres and acts in line with CPI core values.Functional/Technical Skills - Possesses high level of skill, knowledge and ability in assigned functional area.Safety - Complies with company safety rules and regulations.
