Location: Danville,KY, USA
SUMMARY: The position will consist of abrasive machining of mild steel products
Applicants must be able to produce the required surface finishes to metal parts in preparation for the paint process
Having a good eye for detail is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Proficient use of basic hand and power tools (sanders, grinders, etc.)
•Follow written and verbal instructions to meet product specifications.
•Visually inspect parts for scratches, defects, and consistent finishes.
•Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace

KNOWLEDGE and SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Must be reliable and maintain excellent attendance.
•Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision while meeting all product quality requirements.
•Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
•Ability to work well as a team member.
•Report any safety concerns to supervisor and maintain a safety conscious behavior
•Understand and support Company policies
and procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•Lift and carry 1-40 lbs
frequently, or team-lift 60 lbs
occasionally
•Push or pull hand trucks to move pallets of materials
•Squat, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.
•Sit, stand and walk for 1-10 hours per day
•Ability to work in 55 – 85-degree F
work environment.
•Work in a fast paces manufacturing environment wearing eye/hearing protection, steel-toed shoes and other appropriate protective gear when required.
