SUMMARY (Overview of this Position)
The Assembly Tech 2 will work in the sub-assembly, filter assembly, non-filter assembly, and shell assembly areas.
You will be cross trained in all these areas as production needs dictate to develop the fundamental skills necessary to assembly custom connectors.

- Use Filconn processes and procedures to build a quality product for our end customer
- Good communication skills, ability to communicate with peers, superiors, line leads and management
- Ability to move within the department as instructed by line lead or management as the work load requires it
- Willingness to obtain knowledge of product and process
- Ability to follow directives as set forth by line lead and/or management
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Must be a team player

- Your Overall Yield is = 98%
- Customer rejects/returns from products you assembled is < 2%
- You will be able to assemble standard and complex filter sub-assemblies
- You will be able to assemble non-filter connectors
- You will be able to assemble filter connectors
- You will be able to assemble shell sub-assemblies
Able to perform IR/DWV/Capacitance/Resistance testing on filters
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (Needed/desired for this Position)
High School Diploma or GED Preferred or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
TECHNICAL and/or MANAGERIAL JOB COMPETENCIES (Specific Job Proficiencies and Skills)
Experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Connector assembly
- Small electronics assembly
- Use of small hand tools (tweezers, dental pics, exacto knives, etc.)
- Working under a microscope
- Use of pneumatic dispensing machines
- Reading and implementing assembly process instructions
- Interpret drawings
- Read calipers/tape measures
- Decision-making Quality/Willingness
- Flexibility
