EFCO LLCPOSITION SUMMARYAn Assembly Tech works as a part of the manufacturing team to assemble and install materials.POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Assemble and install door hardware and test as required.Structural weld partsComply with safety, quality, and productivity requirements and proceduresRegular/dependable attendance requiredFlexibility of work hours including overtimeUse of hand tools and machinery is requiredMust be able to work well with little or no supervisionParticipates in WWS's Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding his/her team's performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock, vibration, and seasonal high/low temperatures and humidity. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud, requiring hearing protection. Must be willing and able to comply with all plant safety regulations including wearing appropriate PPE when on the production floor.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSRegularly required to stand, reach, bend, talk, hear, and move about the facility. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, occasionally push up to 54 pounds and pull up to 54 pounds.
