Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient Assembly Technician to join our team. This role is integral to our production operations, focusing on the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of customized point-of-sale (POS) systems. As part of our team, you will be responsible for building new POS terminals, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. In this position, you will handle everything from the initial assembly of electro-mechanical components to wiring complex cable assemblies, as well as programming and configuring systems with the appropriate software programs. Youll also perform detailed testing and calibration of electrical components to ensure proper functionality. For returns and repairs, youll diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and ensure that all systems are fully operational before they are shipped back to the customer. Additionally, youll manage the packaging and shipment of newly constructed POS terminals as well as the shipment of replacement parts, while also maintaining accurate inventory records of incoming and returned components. You will be a key player in maintaining the organization of our stockroom, ensuring that parts and components are readily available for production and repair workflows. Beyond the technical duties, this role requires a problem-solver who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
