As we Serve with Integrity - Collaborate with Humility - Grow with Agility - Innovate with Impact.The Opportunity ...As an Assembly Technician III, you will utilize your extensive mechanical expertise to assemble industrial machines with the highest level of safety, quality and productivity.On a given day, you may:Assemble complex industrial equipment using pneumatic and electric hand and power tools.QA/QC and inspect equipment.Troubleshoot and correct mechanical issues.Requirements for the role:Intuitive understanding of SAE and metric equivalents for hardware, holes and linear dimensions.Basic electrical knowledge with ability to land power to finished equipment for testing in accordance with lock out-tag out and flash arc procedures.Proficient in accessing drawing vault (PDM).Ability to become SME for equipment capacities.Proficient in reading assembly prints.Ability to mentor level 1 and 2 assemblers.A plus but not required:Forklift and/or crane experience.Tig welding small parts.Location: This position is onsite in the Columbus OH office.Why work at JBT ...We are committed to our employees and will provide you with development and opportunities to allow you to be the best version of yourself at work, at home, and in your community.We foster a genuine inclusive team culture enjoying collaborative working across our global teams to deliver world-class projects.We encourage development - ensuring new experiences and challenges at JBT to feed your growth!Benefits: JBT Corporation offers benefits on day 1 of your employment.
