JOB SUMMARY:Assembly Technician is responsible for manual assembly of cooling systems. Includes components of air conditioners, heat exchangers, fan packages, etc. In addition, equipment operation and maintenance, quality data management, and continuous job improvements are required while completing tasks within standard times with minimal supervision. All while working in a climate-controlled facility.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCarry out product assemblyFollow logical or systematic instructions including drawings and written instructionsInstall controller, condenser, power source, fan, filters, etc. into specified enclosurePerform visual and physical inspections during assembly to comply to company standardsDocument task verification throughout assemblyOpen communication of any issues and concerns with Supervisor and Quality Assurance Mgr.Solve problems with machinery or equipmentComplete tasks within standard times with minimum supervisionMaintain a clean and orderly work area* JOB QUALIFICATIONS *1-3 years of experience in a high-capacity manufacturing environmentHigh School diploma or GED equivalent is requiredWorking knowledge of HVAC systemsUniversal EPA certification requiredBasic electrical wiring skillsGood attendance, initiativeAble to follow both written and verbal instructionsDemonstrated ability to use small hand and power toolsMust be able to lift 45 lbs. minimumWORK ENVIRONMENTManufacturing warehouse environmentStanding, bending, squatting, lifting, stretchingUse of tools, machinery, loud noises and equipment*PLEASE CLICK APPLY ON PACAREERLINK PA.
