Currently we are seeking an individual for our wiring department to join our team and be an essential part of our manufacturing team. This person will Install wiring and electrical components to garbage truck assembly. Your Role in Our Mission:
  • Prepare wire looms, mount lights and switches, and wire finished product in an efficient manner to maximize production.
  • Maintain accuracy of product by following specifications, work orders, and known practices.
  • Inspect and test own work for function and appearance.
  • Maintain a level of inventory that will minimize production delays and order needed components through Purchasing.
  • Understand and work with electrical wiring, specifically 12 Volt DC.
  • Operate forklift to move around garbage truck assemblies.
  • Set garbage truck assembly on chassis using a crane.
To Perform this Job Successfully:
  • Good communication.
  • Use math skills and have a good understanding of fractions.
  • Read and understand schematics and technical documents.
  • Clean and maintain an orderly work area.
  • Add reflectors to cover sheets.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner and report hazards associated with the equipment or its operation to the Safety Department and Maintenance Department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience: 1 year preferred with 12 Volt DC, forklift operation, and manual/power toolsBenefits
