ProMach is looking for an Assembly Technician to join their Zalkin product brand, in our Statham, GA facility.

Does this work interest you?

* Reads and interprets engineering prints and/or manufacturing manuals, templates, bills of material, and/or verbal/written instructions to determine necessary preparation and assembly of bottle handling sub-assemblies.

* Prepares various sub-parts for fitting e.g. deburring and/or drilling holes, countersunk or counterbores and/or routing and/or grinding, or etc.

* Fits and adjusts sub-parts to make a precise sub-assembly per specifications to meet operating requirements of the bottle handling product.

* Use Engraving machine and software to operate engraving machine to engrave specific labels on the parts and engraving standard company information along with company logo.

* Uses a variety of hand and power tools e.g. drill press, router, grinder, screwdriver, clamps, etc.

* Uses a variety of precision measuring and gauging instruments e.g scale, calipers, micrometers, etc., to inspect and verify conformance of parts to specifications/tolerances.

* Assembles standardized mechanical units where extreme care, skilled workmanship, and accuracy are required to meet strict inspection, testing and operating specifications. Or precision sub-assembly BHE parts.

* Positions, erects, aligns, levels; positions sub-assemblies, units, and separates components and integrates their operations; performs fitting, aligning, timing, calibrating, and other operations incidental to the mechanical assembly of the machine.

* Inspects parts for proper machining finish and dimensions; checks sub-assemblies and units.

* May transport specified parts from various plant locations manually or by using various mechanical lifting aids e.g. forklift trucks, etc.

* Strictly follows all safety requirements for hand and power tool operation, the assembly of parts, and housekeeping.

* Regular attendance and daily punctuality are necessary for performing the job.

* Understand the sub-parts necessary for each job order.

* Performs additional duties and assignments as directed by management.

* High school diploma.

* 1-2 years of minimum experience combined in facility and equipment maintenance and/or equipment fabrication/assembly.

* Good communication skills (both oral and written).

* General knowledge of manufacturing processes, techniques, practices.

* Experience reading mechanical prints, 3-D Drawing, AutoCAD layouts.

* Must have PC/Computer skills, which include knowledge of word processing, data analysis and spreadsheet applications.

* Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.

* Self-motivated and ability to see what needs to be done.
