Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, EverCharge operates a factory in Hayward, CA, which supplies EVSEs for its customers across North America.Location: HaywardOur Assembly TechnicianWill be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting chargers. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical assembly and a passion for advancing green technology.Responsibilities: Conduct tests on assembled chargers to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Identify and address any issues or defects.Diagnose and repair any assembly issues or malfunctions during the assembly process, working closely with engineering and quality teams to implement solutions.Accurately record assembly processes, test results, and any modifications made during the assembly. Maintain thorough documentation for quality control and auditing purposes.Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. Provide feedback to engineering teams on design improvements.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and production, to ensure seamless integration of assembly processes.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical assembly, preferably within the EV or automotive industry.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions. Strong understanding of electrical components and systems.Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to electrical components.Relevant certifications in electrical assembly or manufacturing are a plus.Job Title and Compensation:The base compensation range for this position is between $20.00 and $30.00 an hour, based on full-time employment.Actual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.Our open positions are based on job competencies that are specific to each role.
