You will be doing all phases of large assembly including pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical construction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Proficient at reading all hydraulic and/or pneumatic schematicsIntroduced to electrical meters and volt metersIntroduced to electrical prints and continued knowledge with all other forms of printsCan wire switches to print, and start to wire boxesIntermediate adjustment of system componentsIntermediate print readingRead tape measure within 1/16 Read LevelBasic print reading skillsIdentify and use SAE, Metric, Fine and Coarse FastenersDemonstrate drilling and tapping by hand, air or electric for assembly requirementsMust be comfortable working at varies heights-will be performing work on ladders, platforms, and scissor liftsProficient with power toolsBasic equipment recognitionOther duties as assignedSkills:Forklift, Crane, Jib Crane (per Company certification)Must have own tools in a roll around toolboxProficient at light layoutAbility to Identify correct lubrication and correct amountAbilities:Ability to foster and work within a team environmentAbility to provide mentorshipAble to work on multiple projects at one timeGood reading, writing and oral communication skillsDisplays attention to detail and consistently follows Standard Work Instructions (when available) when completing tasksDemonstrates the qualities of a Team Player by accepting new responsibilities and filling in for other employees when neededEducation and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED DC Fundamentals (Clark College or equivalent preferred)1-3 years in an assembly area or related field desiredColumbia Machine offers a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, short- and long-term disability, 401(k), incentive compensation, paid holidays, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
