The ideal candidate possesses an efficiency-oriented mindset, is mechanically inclined, and brings previous regulatory compliance environment background. He/she is process-oriented with an appreciation for consistency, discipline, and standardization.Keys to success are the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in conjunction with cross-functional stakeholders including Quality, Supply Chain/Fulfillment, and Operations. In addition, a strong candidate will demonstrate detailed, proactive communication along with fundamental computer/ technical skills proficiency.Responsibilities
- Ensure product is assembled, tested, and released within defined timelines, as according to quality-driven specifications. A high-performing candidate will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, Inventory Control, and Quality.
- Build electro-mechanical assemblies in a consistent and standardized manner, testing and evaluating device performance, and completing documentation promptly and accurately.
- Basic-level competency with MS Office Suite including Excel.
- Attention to detail with the ability to understand engineering BOMs and documentation.
- Willingness to learn, growth-orientation, adaptability, team-orientation, and strong written/verbal communication skills. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- 3-5 years' experience assembling electro-mechanical medical products and sub-assemblies.
- A demonstrated ability to read and follow both assembly and test procedures.
- Experience with basic machining tools and techniques; knowledge of 3D printing.
- Ability to work independently.
