As an Assembly & Test Technician, you will be responsible for complex assembly and test operations on optical, electrical, electronic, and electromechanical subassemblies. All assembles will require following protocols for safely working with precision optical and ultra-high vacuum assembly.
Responsibilities: - Perform complex assembly and test operations on optical, electrical, electronic, and electromechanical subassemblies.
- Follow protocols appropriate for precision optical and ultra-high vacuum assembly.
- Execute calibration and quality control procedures.
- Contribute where needed on a wide range of day-to-day tasks.
- Maintain records and logs.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams and to follow standard operating procedures.
- Capable of lifting up-to 40 lbs.
- Associates degree or higher in electronics or related field, military electronics training plus work experience.
- 5 - 7 years relevant experience with complex electromechanical or high vacuum systems (e.g., SEM, TEM, semiconductor fab tools, etc.).
