Position : Assembly Worker
Location : Franklin Lakes, NJ
Duration : 4 Months Contract
Start Time : 08:00 AM
End Time :05:00 PM
Total Hours/week : 40.00( Mon- Fri)
Qualifications:
- 3 years' experience assembling small products consisting of precision injection molded plastic and metal parts.
- Experience using bench equipment such as adhesive curing equipment, ultrasonic welders, magnifying glasses and loops to inspect results.
- Experience using measurement devices like pin gauges, go-nogo gauges and simple tools and fixtures. Must be able to read and follow detailed written instructions.
- Experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience reading mechanical engineering drawings and specifications a plus.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to an Engineer and working with a dedicated cross-functional team, the candidate will assemble, inspect and test small precision medical devices.
- Candidate must be able to follow written mechanical assembly procedures, detailed instructions and verbal direction.
- The candidate must be able to recognize specific part and product defects and follow rework procedures.
- The candidate must be able to learn and properly use all tools and equipment required.
- The candidate must follow Corporate and Divisional Quality systems and comply with all regulatory and safety guidelines.
- Specific responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) the following: using fixtures for assembly, testing, and inspection, and work with engineers and assemblers to complete assigned tasks.
