Job Description:

A financial services firm in Colorado is actively seeking a new Asset Management Analyst / Associate for a promising opportunity with their growing staff in Denver. ***The qualified professional can either work Remotely or onsite at their Denver office.*** Responsibilities: The Asset Management Analyst / Associate will:

  • Manage financial performance, optimize operational efficiency, and monitor contract compliance and counterparty reporting
  • Assess the financial health of renewable energy assets
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and resolve any operational issues or equipment failures promptly
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve asset reliability, availability, and performance
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Monitor revenue generation, operating costs, and budget adherence; prepare financial reports and forecasts, identifying opportunities to optimize revenue streams
  • Collaborate with the Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with financial regulations
  • Manage contracts and agreements related to renewable energy generation assets
  • Monitor contract compliance, including performance guarantees, maintenance obligations, and reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with Legal and Procurement teams to negotiate and review contracts
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct analysis, develop and implement strategies to maximize energy output, minimize equipment failures, and extend asset lifespan
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, and/or a related field
  • Familiarity with Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Contract Management
  • Passion for optimization and proven experience in Asset Management, Operations, or Project Management within the Renewable Energy industry
  • Deep knowledge of Renewable Energy technologies, industry regulations, and best practices
  • Solid analytical and and problem-solving skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
Desired Skills:
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, and/or a related field
