A financial services firm in Colorado is actively seeking a new Asset Management Analyst / Associate for a promising opportunity with their growing staff in Denver. ***The qualified professional can either work Remotely or onsite at their Denver office.*** Responsibilities: The Asset Management Analyst / Associate will:
- Manage financial performance, optimize operational efficiency, and monitor contract compliance and counterparty reporting
- Assess the financial health of renewable energy assets
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and resolve any operational issues or equipment failures promptly
- Develop and implement strategies to improve asset reliability, availability, and performance
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Monitor revenue generation, operating costs, and budget adherence; prepare financial reports and forecasts, identifying opportunities to optimize revenue streams
- Collaborate with the Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with financial regulations
- Manage contracts and agreements related to renewable energy generation assets
- Monitor contract compliance, including performance guarantees, maintenance obligations, and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with Legal and Procurement teams to negotiate and review contracts
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct analysis, develop and implement strategies to maximize energy output, minimize equipment failures, and extend asset lifespan
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, and/or a related field
- Familiarity with Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Contract Management
- Passion for optimization and proven experience in Asset Management, Operations, or Project Management within the Renewable Energy industry
- Deep knowledge of Renewable Energy technologies, industry regulations, and best practices
- Solid analytical and and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
