Job Advert: Asset Management Assistant

Position Overview:The Asset Management Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our Asset Management team by performing records research and assisting with various projects. This position is perfect for someone with experience in utility operation records or geographic parcel research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct records research using Perceptive Document Management, Maximo, and GIS Systems.
• Assist employees and contractors with records research activities under the guidance of Asset Management staff.
• Support records correction as needed.
• Handle inbound requests for the Central Records help desk during working hours and participate in after-hours support as assigned (on a rotational basis).

Position Requirements:

• Experience in utility operation records or geographic parcel/legal research is highly desirable.
• Background in oil-well lease or related research is a plus.
• Familiarity with records and information management programs, including Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and automation tools.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (intermediate level minimum).
• Willingness to learn GIS and Maximo systems.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
• Physical ability to lift 30 lb boxes and climb a ladder.
