About the Role:
As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our real estate portfolio. You will work closely with third-party property managers, brokers, and our internal teams (Accounting and investments) to drive performance across our assets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve portfolio performance.
- Oversee third-party property managers and conduct property inspections (occasional travel required).
- Analyze financials at the property and portfolio levels, including budgeting, cash flow, and income statements.
- Ensure compliance with lender requirements and manage asset performance to maximize returns.
- Prepare financial models and investment analyses for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify asset enhancement opportunities.
- Manage retail lease negotiations, vendor contracts, and other operational agreements.
- Collaborate with the acquisition and development teams on potential new projects.
- Provide monthly performance reports to key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience in real estate (Asset Management, Acquisitions, Underwriting, or Property Management).
- Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills (Excel proficiency required).
- Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team.
