Lake Union Partners, an urban real estate development firm, is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join our investment team in Seattle. With 13 projects and 2,850 units across Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Eastern Washington, we focus on residential mixed-use and historic preservation developments, emphasizing design quality, integrity, and local impact. About the Role:

As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our real estate portfolio. You will work closely with third-party property managers, brokers, and our internal teams (Accounting and investments) to drive performance across our assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve portfolio performance.
  • Oversee third-party property managers and conduct property inspections (occasional travel required).
  • Analyze financials at the property and portfolio levels, including budgeting, cash flow, and income statements.
  • Ensure compliance with lender requirements and manage asset performance to maximize returns.
  • Prepare financial models and investment analyses for internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify asset enhancement opportunities.
  • Manage retail lease negotiations, vendor contracts, and other operational agreements.
  • Collaborate with the acquisition and development teams on potential new projects.
  • Provide monthly performance reports to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience in real estate (Asset Management, Acquisitions, Underwriting, or Property Management).
  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills (Excel proficiency required).
  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team.
