Through our community program SNIPES serves and its localized approach we support the needs of our communities, empower, and celebrate our dynamic culture.Overview: Reporting to the Asset Protection Manager, the Asset Protection Supervisor will assist AP operations within SNIPES Distribution Center to promote and execute all shrink programs including inventory shrink, investigations, and physical security.Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring Asset Protection policies and procedures are implemented and monitored by the management team at all company warehouses.
  • Assist the APM with ensuring that Physical Security, Loss Prevention Awareness, OSHA regulations, and Fire Safety standards are within company guidelines and to the highest industry standards.
  • Train all employees on Asset Protection and Physical Security procedures through the execution of Team Member workshops.
  • Support DC Management by maintaining and updating the DC Alarm Call List and facilitating alarm code distribution when necessary.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of all internal theft investigations within all warehouse locations.
  • Assist law enforcement with investigations, including video review and evidence requests.
  • Supervise and guide all Asset Protection Specialists on shift, as they perform the following roles: physical security audits, employee bag/coat check inspections, periodic inspections of lockers and conduction of routine perimeter walks within the property/loading area.
  • Perform daily bag and coat inspections for all employees, vendors, and visitors entering or exiting the facility.
  • Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of the facility, including pilferage and end-of-day trailer inspections.
  • Assess physical security measures and monitor virtual camera systems to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Perform daily perpetual inventory count of high value products.
  • Perform daily trailer seal inspections in partnership with the logistics team.
  • Test all Asset Protection (AP) equipment daily to confirm functionality. Partner with the DC APM when deficiencies are identified for quick resolution.
  • Monitor CCTV systems daily with a focus on high-risk areas within the DC.
  • Provide escorts for visitors and vendors as needed to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Assist with managing access control for the warehouse, to include creating badges and deactivating badges.
  • Utilize CCTV to closely monitor daily workflow to ensure all employees are performing all daily work responsibilities to set OSHA requirements.
  • Assist the APM in leading all aspects of shrink awareness, access control, alarm system management, merchandise audit security programs, transportation, and seal control.
Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate would possess a bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year College or university in Criminal Justice.
  • Two (2) years of Asset Protection Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor or Store Management experience required.
  • Advance knowledge of Verkada systems including cameras and access control or similar systems required.
  • Prior experience identifying and resolving internal dishonesty cases.
  • The ideal candidate would have a comprehensive knowledge of warehouse processes, procedures, and programs as demonstrated through previous work and educational experience.
  • The ideal candidate should have previous experience in managing alarm systems and code distribution.
  • The ideal candidate would have a comprehensive knowledge of warehouse OSHA compliance and basic safety standards.
  • Wicklander & Zulawski Basic & Advance Interview Certification preferred.
  • Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish and English)
Position Requirements:
  • Role is 100% onsite at the Distribution Center
  • Available for flexible shift work, late hours, and weekend (Four 10-Hour shifts per week).
