Job Description:
About the Role: We are looking for an Asset Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day sequencing of WO's and activities required to create and maintain detailed production/supply schedules based on the master scheduling input or established pull signals. They ensure the system of record is accurate for all production schedules and process orders. In addition, this position will also include serving as our SOE Champion. In this role, the focus will be to ensure a smooth execution of the firm order book across all Business against the manufacturing Plant and ensuring escalation (as needed) to support. The position has an important role in framing perspective for decision makers in the organization through the SOE Horizon. This role will be located at our Elk Mills 5 facility in Elkton, Maryland.Pay and Benefits:
  • $63,000 - $83,000 per year

Responsibilities:
  • Sequence the work orders on the manufacturing floor
  • Assure the schedules are continually maintained and communicated and made available for commitments to orders
  • Communicate production issues, inventory issues, supply changes, deviations from the plan and potential resolutions to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain the appropriate planning parameters (calendars, etc) and date maintenance required to generate schedules
  • Execute capacity requirements planning (CRP) to support the supply plans
  • Participate with manufacturing to understand and report on production performance
  • Be responsible for preparing and facilitating the S&OE meeting by inviting participants and providing pre-reads before the meeting
  • Collaborate across all required function (internal and external) to deal with exceptions and rebalance demand and supply plans with minimal disruptions in the SOE Horizon
  • Summarize actions from the SOE meeting to drive decision making and prepare for the following weekly cycle respectively
Required Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Technical field and/or High School diploma plus 5 years relevant experience
  • Operations, scheduling, and planning experience
  • Short term scheduling experience SOE and S&OP Experience
  • ERP experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Continuous Improvement certification preferred
  • APICS Basics preferred
  • SAP experience
