The Role We are looking for a motivated Assistant Account Executive with a passion for healthcare. You will be joining a hybrid and dynamic team to support leading global pharmaceutical, biotech and healthcare non-profit clients that chose Porter Novelli as their public relations agency.At Porter Novelli we service a wide variety of clients and are looking for a team member who can jump in on a non-profit client one minute while only taking a second to shift gears to a pharmaceutical client who is looking to make a digital splash to inform patients and healthcare professionals of newest developments in the industry. What You Will Be DoingSupport multiple account teams with various projects across healthcareWork with different disciplines on the team e.g. analytics, research, creativeOpportunity to have client interaction Assist in the development of written materials, including press kits, pitch letters, coverage recaps, press releases and general content and client correspondenceStart developing relationships with reporters and press organizations Create media monitoring reports for relevant brand and competitive coverageDevelop and regularly update media lists and editorial calendarsResearch industry and marketplace trends and summarize for teamsExecute social media campaigns and create social media content for clientsProvide additional support to teams as necessaryParticipate in office-wide initiatives, including professional development and brainstorm sessionsContribute to campaign planning by conducting research and gathering insightsThe Experience That Will Contribute To Your SuccessInterest in healthcare, patient advocacy and/or pharma researchAppetite for efficiently organizing and managing multiple tasks with a keen eye for detailsWriting is second nature to you and in all forms you express your ideas in a clear and concise mannerProject management skills The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
