We have specialinterest in candidates with backgrounds in digital twin and AI/ML technologies,autonomous science, multiphysics modeling, advanced manufacturing, thermofluidsand phase transitions, and energy related fields. Computational and theoreticalscientists who are enthusiastic about teaching our diverse student body arewelcome to apply. Individuals will also be considered at associate or full professorrank if they possess outstanding qualifications commensurate with the rank. TheDepartment offers BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering, andIndustrial Engineering and Operations Research, and currently has anundergraduate enrollment of about 900 and a graduate enrollment of about 207.
