Basic qualifications are:•Must be 18 years old•Possess a high school diploma or equivalent•Must be authorized to work in the US•One year of manufacturing experience required•One (1) to three (3) years' experience operating or assisting on production equipment preferred but will train•Available to work any shift, weekends, holidays and overtime as required •Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs •Willing to adhere to all safety rules and regulations, including all PPE requirements•Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background checkEssential job functions are:•Review work orders and use material handling equipment, overhead crane or fork lift to get material.•Use material handling equipment, overhead crane or vacuum lift to get material. •Instrumentally start machine and check hydraulic pumps. •Charge material through machine with hand controls.•Crop head/tail scrap off coil.•Use material handling equipment or manually place scrap on a skid.•Manually change Shear gap with small hand tools. •Use micrometers or calipers to check and record gauge width, hardness, burr and surface condition•Document machine mechanical problems.Physical Demands:•May be required to stand for long periods of time•May involve some repetitive motions•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds•May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers•Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and coldRequirements:•Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions•Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division•Computer skills, data entry, good verbal and written communication skills•Perform basic visual quality inspections on products•Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties•Must be certified or become certified in operation of forklifts and overhead cranesWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package including 401(k) with employer match, medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, basic life insurance, paid vacation and holiday package.
