* Assistant Professor

Starting Date Fall 2025 Responsibilities The position involves teaching and advising undergraduate and graduate students, assisting with recruitment, supervising student research, performing original research and publishing commensurate with the candidate's level, and service to the university and profession. A standard teaching load is 12 semester credit hours, with the possibility of up to a 3-hour reduction for administration or graduate teaching. Teaching may involve evening, summer and online courses, as needed. Requirements Requires earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; for example, CS, CIS, CE, CSE, with preference. Preference given to those with a degree from an accredited US institution. ABD considered at time of application with PhD required by August 2025. Preference may be given to those with experience in software development, systems (architecture, OS, Networks), Al or cybersecurity. Standard Requirements

Requires the ability to maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the community. Personal cell phone usage may be required to complete position duties, including multi-function authentication requirements. Regular reliable attendance is required.
