Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Department of Management and Marketing provides a comprehensive, quality undergraduate education in Management and Marketing disciplines, and incorporates information technology and ethics to prepare students for leadership roles in business and society.The programs and functions in the department support the university's mission by welcoming and extending department's resources to all who strive for academic excellence. In this role, the incumbent will teach 9 undergraduate/graduate semester hours in Management. The selected candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses using a variety of delivery formats; conduct research; serve on assigned departmental, college and university committees; and advise students. Candidates are expected to teach courses in organizational policy and strategy; organization and management, risk management and insurance, organizational theory and design, international business, organization and environment, personnel/human resources management, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior and leadership, industrial relations collective bargaining, or other management related courses.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualified candidates must hold a PhD in Management or Entrepreneurship. Candidates must hold PhD from an AACSB Accredited Business School. Additionally, in order to effectively teach management analytics, candidates for this position must have a minor in statistics or have a master's degree in statistics. Candidates must have sufficient qualifications to meet AACSB criteria for scholarly academic (SA) status; and have some college teaching experience. Preference will be given to qualified candidates who have publications in quality journals and/or a research pipeline, quality presentations at national and/or international conferences.
