Bethel College (North Newton, Kansas) invites applications for a full-time faculty member to teach courses in Accounting to begin in the Fall 2025 semester (tenure eligible). Successful candidates will exhibit leadership and management capabilities associated with teaching courses and recruiting students for the Accounting concentration. Rank, term, and nature of the appointment are open and depend on the qualifications of the applicant. Non-teaching duties will include student recruitment visits, retention, assessment, academic advising, and participation in committee work. In addition, faculty members are regularly engaged in the College's Employment Experiences program through supervising and mentoring students who are fulfilling the requirements of this program within their departments, primarily through exceptional and sustained opportunities for student participation in research and other forms of meaningful departmental work.

Essential Functions
* Support the mission, vision, and values of Bethel College
* Participate in the recruitment process of students
* Teach upper and lower level Accounting courses
* Teach Principles of Finance and Managerial Finance courses
* Foster the development of excellence in teaching within the department
* The ability to utilize effective teaching methods and strategies
* Promote collegiality and collaborative relationships with other Bethel College faculty and staff

Education and/or Experience
All candidates must have earned a Master's degree in a cognate field and have completed a minimum of 18 graduate credits in accounting. The ideal candidate will have a completed doctorate; possess either CPA or CMA certification and practical experience; and a desire to attract and retain quality accounting students.
