In addition to teaching, research, and service responsibilities, SUNY Poly faculty members have the opportunity to engage in curriculum development, industry collaboration, and community outreach. Health Information Management courses are delivered online, and the candidate will be expected to teach and advise students online. In addition, the successful candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with faculty and multidisciplinary research centers organized under the thematic areas defined in SUNY Poly's 2024 Strategic Plan: Materials, Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing; AI and Information Technology; Smart Infrastructure and Sustainability; and Healthcare & Wellbeing.Salary: Assistant Professor $80,000 - $90,000 / Associate Professor $90,000 - $100,000We are eager to hear from candidates with demonstrated commitments both teaching and research, and a commitment to cultivating diversity in the university and professional work environment.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:Master's Degree required from an institution accredited by the US Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting body.Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).Proficiency with online Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard, D2L, or Canvas.Preferred Qualifications:A PhD degree in relevant field of study.
