Description of Duties:

The successful candidate will be expected to develop a productive research program that actively involves undergraduate and graduate students. The successful candidate will join an active and committed group of faculty and can anticipate the opportunity to participate in the development of future graduate programs. In addition, the candidate will also be expected to contribute service to the university and profession as appropriate. Candidates should demonstrate that they have (1) experience teaching undergraduate community/behavior health/public health courses including quantitative/quantitative methods; (2) program planning; (3) experience with multiple teaching modalities and familiarity with best practices in undergraduate education, including online instruction; (4) evidence of active and ongoing research in public health; and (5) professional engagement with students in and out of the classroom.

Salary: Assistant Professor $80,000 - $90,000 / Associate Professor $90,000 - $100,000

Minimum Qualifications:

+ PhD or equivalent in Public Health or a closely related discipline from an institution accredited by the US Department of Education or an internationally recognized organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Expertise in health care management or health education/promotion/behavior

+ MPH or MS degree in Public Health or related field
