The School of Nursing at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications from qualified candidates for the Assistant/Associate Professor or Assistant Clinical/Associate Clinical Professor position.

Classroom and clinical instruction in the undergraduate program with expertise in medsurg, leadership, evidence-based practice, and research. Successful candidates should have a beginning program of research and scholarship; committee service and outreach activities are required.

The successful candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

* Knowledge and insights gained from the exploration of his/her area of specialization.

* Ability to communicate to professional peers.

* Ability to perform successfully the professional duties assigned.

* Ability to engage in scholarship and research.

* Ability to demonstrate academic growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in nursing.

Current unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Alabama

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctorate degree or doctorate degree conferred by date of hire. Recent classroom/clinical experience with teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
