The Department of Medical & Clinical Laboratory Sciences at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty or clinical faculty position available September 1, 2024 in the Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a series in Clinical Immunohematology, Urinalysis, Clinical Instrumentation, Lab Management and Education. Candidate will also be required to create and maintain online course work for their respective courses in the MLS program.
Applicants must have a master's degree, earned doctorate preferred; national certification as a generalist [MLS or MT] required; and a minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop and maintain a research program with the potential to involve undergraduate students. Student advising, as well as a commitment to university, community, and professional service is also expected.
