The Associate/Assistant Registrar is part of a collaborative team of four ensuring that student academic records are maintained and utilized in a secure, confidential and accurate manner.Essential Job Functions
- Creates, updates and modifies all degree audits as curricular changes occur. Monitors student progress and assists with graduation clearance and commencement.
- Assists students in planning their academic career and confirms they are on track for degree completion.
- Works closely with Admissions staff to ensure all immunizations and undergraduate transcripts are submitted to comply with ABA and NYSED requirements.
- Reviews bar applications for Board of Examiners and character committee forms for New York and other states.
- Works closely with Financial Aid staff to enter student eligibility into VA portal and ensures students receive their veteran benefits in a timely manner.
- Works with other Registrar's Office staff to administer exams, including scheduling space and using exam tool (ExamSoft).
- Assists with compilation of reports for internal needs and external reporting to governmental and accrediting agencies..
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Dean & Registrar.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student/alumni records.
- Demonstrated ability using Microsoft Office Suite products and performing internet based research.
- Proficiency with educational databases (Colleague) and knowledge of report writing preferred.
Qualification Standards
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum three years of related work experience in an academic environment (data management, records or student personnel). Previous experience in a Registrar's office preferred.

Compensation:The estimated salary range is $60,500 to $75,000, dependent on the level of position offered.
