Specific duties include supervising the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, assisting with physical examinations, supervising graduate student athletic trainers, providing athletic trainer coverage of athletic practices and contests, including travel with assigned athletic teams, and assisting with administrative duties. Performs other duties as assigned.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of one year of athletic training experience. National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification national certification required. Tennessee Athletic Trainers state license or eligibility for license. Beyond meeting minimum requirements, candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for serving as an assistant athletic trainer in a NCAA Division I collegiate, coeducational athletic training program.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with intercollegiate student-athletes.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Pay grade 8. Benefits Information
