Our team is passionate about what we do, and we want you to make us even better!JOB DESCRIPTION- FULL TIMEOral Roberts University, a member of NCAA Division I Athletics participating in the Summit League, is seeking one (1) qualified applicant for Assistant Athletic Trainer position. Anticipated sport responsibilities are Men's Soccer and assistance with Track & Field/Cross Country. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain comprehensive health care programs for student-athletes.Location: Tulsa, OKRESPONSIBILITIES
  • Injury prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation for student-athletes
  • Communicate with coaching staffs, athletes, physicians, co-workers, students, and parents regarding athlete's healthcare
  • Plan and administer emergency care as needed
  • Make necessary medical referrals
  • Organize and maintain daily medical records, including an Electronic Medical Record system.
  • Ensure that Department, University, NCAA, federal and state policies, procedures, and/or regulations are followed
  • Instruct and evaluate athletic training students
  • Provide athletic training services to both home and away competitions
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be NATA Board of Certification certified by start date and eligible for Oklahoma State Licensure.
  • Bachelor's degree in athletic training with a Master's degree in a related field OR Master's degree in athletic training.
  • CPR, AED & First Aid Certified
  • Valid driver's license
Desired:
  • Division I collegiate experience as an athletic trainer
ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThe Assistant Athletic Training position is a full-time, salaried, and benefits-eligible 12 month position. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
