The Assistant Coach will be responsible for assisting in the planning and organizing practice, assisting with development of the schedule, as well as coaching and team management for team games. The coach will also support the Head Coach with program management and planning, and will assist the Head Coach with evaluation of players, implementation of program philosophy, organization and management of practices and games, travel planning and supervision of players. QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate will prioritize sportsmanship, work ethic, organization, and communication with players, staff, and the community. Prior school coaching experience. Ability to relate well to student-athletes, as well as the ability to teach and develop fundamental skills is required. Candidate will display positive qualities such as enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and loyalty. Candidate must also represent the program with appropriate behavior and integrity at all times while developing and maintaining productive relationships with other employees, parents, students, and opponents. Must meet WIAA Coaching Standards, or have ability and willingness to work toward standards. Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality in all matters pertaining to students, parents, staff, and program. Must effectively support the head coach in all aspects of the program.
