**What we are looking for:**

We are seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to assist First Atlantic Federal Credit Union to live out our Mission and Vision by working directly with the Branch Manager to provide best value financial services to members by providing outstanding service to both members and internal members. One of the primary means to achieve this end is to develop a highly effective team of employees and develop each employee to their highest potential through coaching and leadership. A key component of this service is to identify the financial needs of the member and recommend an appropriate credit union solution. In addition to reporting to the Branch Manager and functioning as second in command the Assistant Branch Manager is also responsible for managing all aspects of the Branch with a strong attention to sales and service.

Manage staff on handling member account issues and identifying the member's needs and long-term financial goals. Educate the staff on recognizing the potential product and service solutions. Ensure staff builds long-term financial relationships with each member through active coaching of the credit union's consultative service culture initiatives.

Ensure team delivers service to both internal and external members that is in alignment with the credit union's Service Promises.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

In the absence of the Branch Manager, directly supervises branch employees in the branch. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
