Job Description:

The Assistant Branch Manager will play a pivotal role in the overall success of their branch. They will be ensuring day-to-day operations are completed as necessary, optimizing customer experience, and enhancing team performance.

Description

  • Branch Operations Management:Oversee daily operations of the branch to ensure smooth workflow, cost-efficiency, profitability, and high-quality service, while supporting the Branch Manager's strategic initiatives.
  • Customer Service & Escalation Handling:Address escalated customer inquiries and promptly resolve issues, ensuring high-quality service and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Team Communication & Goal Alignment:Conduct regular team huddles to communicate daily objectives and updates, ensuring alignment with branch goals and operational standards.
  • Staff Onboarding & Training:Assist with onboarding new team members, offering immediate guidance to help them integrate into branch operations, and address any ongoing training needs.
  • Security & Compliance:Participate in the daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring dual control of the vault and compliance with security standards, working closely with the Branch Manager.
  • Leadership in Branch Manager's Absence:Step in as the branch leader in the Branch Manager's absence, overseeing daily operations, customer service, and team management to maintain branch continuity
  • Compliance & Reporting Support:Aid in compliance tasks, manage operational reporting, and communicate any updates to policies or procedures to ensure staff adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.

Profile

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field
  • Clearly communicates in English, Spanish speaking a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of banking operations, policies, and procedures
  • Moderate PC skills, must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
