Who You Are and What You'll Do:
- The Assistant Brand Manager for Mainstream Novelty Innovation will be held accountable for leading the Innovation, Communication and Strategy projects across our heritage ice cream novelty brands – Good Humor, Klondike & Popsicle.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ·
- Developing and Managing Innovation Pipeline with a cross functional team to ensure packaging, product and customer demands are launched on time and in full, across a complex global supply chain.
- Lead consumer research by partnering with Insights team to conduct research on new innovation, communication assets and product concepts
- Partner closely with Operations marketing team to ensure flawless execution in market
- Lead Purpose driven communication writing and development for creative agency brief and lead the development of final assets
- Mainstream Novelties has a robust, yet complex portfolio with multiple manufacturing sites, different product formats, & significant investment in the licensing and cobranding products.
- You will be tasked with leading the management of each product segment & relationships with co-brand partners
Day to Day management includes:
- Budget and invoices
- Run and conduct market analysis to understand market trends and opportunities

- This position requires strong leadership skills as you will interact with cross-functional business partners, brand partners in multiple categories as well as agencies.
- Having a vision and strategic intent will be critical to deliver impactful communications and creative.
- You generate powerful insights:
- Our work starts with understanding what drives our consumers to purchase, and crafting plans based on those insights, including nuances based on the shopping occasion and retail channel.
- This position will require the ability to write up and validate consumer concepts for innovations and communications.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required
- 3+ years in Marketing, with some experience in Innovation Crafting.
- A well-informed food & beverage “gut” coupled with an eye for aesthetic, design and attention for details.
- A strong bias for action, especially while managing key stakeholders in a virtual world
- A balance of art & science – ability to think creatively & strategically, with strong business & problem-solving mindset. · Comfortable with using data throughout aspects of the role, turning consumer and social insights into strategic thinking.
- Passion for big iconic brands and desire to leave a mark.
- Understanding of digital and e-commerce
- Clear demonstration of successful, consistent delivery to the business
- Clear demonstration of project management & leadership skills · Experience working with agencies and media partners
- Experience working with different customer channels
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to provide innovative approaches in a team-based structure
