**Assistant Buyer**

**About the role**: CaaStle is adding a new Assistant Buyer to our growing Buying team! This person supports the growth and monetization for our businesses. In addition, youll assist in the Owned & Operated buying process from product setup to launch by coordinating and communicating with vendors and our internal cross-functional teams. And finally, youll support style selection process and assortment management across multiple sites within CaaStle.

**What youll do**:

* Support the selection of styles purchased for Gwynnie Bee and Haverdash

* Run and update weekly or ad-hoc reports

* Own data entry and ensure accuracy of all styles purchased

* Manage incoming and outgoing vendor communications in a timely manner

* Communicate and follow up with vendors to obtain necessary product information and imagery

* Track purchase order status, troubleshoot, and raise potential issues to buyers

* Oversee purchase order confirmation status with vendors and update internal systems accordingly

* Collect and manage vendor photography for all applicable styles

* Manage monthly style handoff process to cross-functional teams

* Pull monthly buy summary for buyers and review/execute any necessary shifts prior to handoffs

* Manage new brand setup

* Reconcile various order discrepancies between crossfunctinoal teams to facilitate progress and completion.

* Assist with ad-hoc projects

**Wed love for you to have**:

* Education: Bachelors degree

* Experience: E-commerce or Apparel industry internship experience preferred

* Strong and effective written and oral communication skills

* Familiarity with the Microsoft Office programs. Working knowledge in Excel or Google Sheet is a must

* Strong organizational and prioritization skills

* Keen attention to details

* Ability to multitask, adapt, think & react in high energy and ever changing environments

* Resourceful and proactive in independent problem solving

* Ability to follow up and follow through

* Eager to learn and open to change and improve
