Campers from all backgrounds are welcome to attend our programs designed for fun, fitness, friendship and learning. Job DetailsThe Overnight Camp Assistant Director is responsible for operations of Camp Tanager programming. This role also provides direct support to the Camp Director in all aspects of program development, ensuring compliance with all applicable program, safety and licensing/certification standards. You will help create and foster a strong interdepartmental sense of teamwork and cooperation and provide assistance to the Camp Director in the process of recruiting, hiring and training of all full time and seasonal staff.QualificationsAcceptable Experience/Training/ Education:
- Graduation from High School or GED
- At least four (4) years' experience with camp programs for children
- At least one (1) year demonstrated leadership role
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
Required Special Qualifications:
- First Aid and CPR certified
