The Assistant Coach for Women's Lacrosse assists with team and player development and training, practice planning, evaluation of athlete performances, and recommendations to the head coach regarding participation in competitions. This position also supports the identification, evaluation, and ongoing recruitment of prospective athletes, as well as assume on- and off-campus recruiting responsibilities. Coaches are expected to support the team and players to thrive academically, and to integrate athletes with university and department services. The Assistant Coach participates in scheduling, planning and travel arrangements. Additional duties include researching and recommending equipment purchases, communication with alumni and friends of the program, and assisting with fundraising for program.

This is a 10-month per year benefits eligible position with the initial term through June 30th, 2026. Extensions beyond that, including promotive opportunities into a non-term role, depend on anticipated business needs and work performance. The salary for this position is $57,650 for 10-month. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant lacrosse experience (coaching or competitive collegiate playing) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Proven success and potential in coaching, recruiting and developing student-athletes.

* Highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic and a relentless recruiter.

* Knowledgeable of NCAA rules.

* Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.

* Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
