Job Description:
We are a company that owns and professionally manages apartment communities located in select markets throughout the southeastern United States. We are recruiting friendly self-motivated individuals with positive attitudes and a drive to succeed, to join our growing company.Currently, we are searching for an Assistant Manager to work at New Zion/Clear Horizon in Shreveport, LA.Description: This position is responsible for assisting the Community Manager in the daily aspects of on- site management and operations for the community at which they are employed. The assistant will also assist the Community Manager and supervisors with special projects and administrative tasks. Duties:
  • Assist in directing and supervision of leasing, maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping staff.
  • Rent collection and posting
  • Actively work on collecting delinquent rent
  • Process invoices
  • Complete Move Out Inspections
  • Assist in answering phones and tending to vendor and resident requests.
  • Entering work orders
  • Update Make Readies in Yardi.
Qualifications:
  • Computer knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Candidate must have a full understanding of compliance documents and deadlines.
  • A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with particular attention to details needed.
  • A minimum of 1 - 2 years of Tax Credit, HUD, and Property Management experience preferred
