Join our client in Chicago as an Assistant Construction Project Manager. This direct placement opportunity is a dynamic role where you'll be deeply involved in the end-to-end process of design/build projects. It requires a strong foundation in construction principles, project management experience, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities, from overseeing project progress to ensuring quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:Project Oversight: You'll be directing multiple projects, managing schedules, changes, and ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget. Team Collaboration: Daily communication with the construction staff and weekly meetings are essential to ensure everyone is aligned with the project's goals. Documentation Management: Utilizing project documentation plans, you'll manage and track various critical documents like Submittals, RFIs, and project specifications. Quality Control: Participation in preconstruction activities and quality control processes is vital, ensuring that projects meet all necessary standards and are completed successfully. Cost and Labor Monitoring: Regularly reviewing project production and cost reports, as well as monitoring labor, will be part of your routine to ensure projects are financially on track. Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Construction Industry
• Experience in Procore software highly preferred
• You'll need to demonstrate a solid understanding of construction practices and previous leadership in project management.
• Bachelors degree preferred but not required
• Physical capabilities to manage job site demands, such as climbing ladders and lifting heavy objects,
• The role is based in Chicago, but with clients and projects nationwide, travel is expected 20-25% as business demands
• The environment is fast-paced, and you'll be working on innovative and high-profile projects.
