Assistant Controller Westbury, NY Our client is a successful and stable manufacturing and distribution company. Theyre a growing company, adding staff across the board. They are looking to hire an Assistant Controller to assist their Controller as the company has gone through some strong growth. They are looking for someone with prior management experience to join the team. This is a full-time, permanent position working onsite and offering a salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 plus bonus. They are fully onsite, this is not a hybrid position. Responsibilities of the position include: You will report to the Controller and manage day to day accounting for the company Oversee a team of four Evaluate current processes, offer improvement ideas Heavy involvement in month-end close, workpapers, reconciliations, etc. Assist outside auditors with year-end audits Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting 5+ years of accounting experience required, CPA license is a plus 2+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred Strong systems skills Top notch organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across the company Strong communication skills and ability to work well with company executives If you would like to be considered for this opportunity or any other position posted by LHH, please email your resume to Erik.Hansen@ lhh.com or you can visit our web site at www.lhh.com .
