Job Summary: The Assistant Controller will be performing a variety of tasks to support the financial operations of the company. This position has a broad responsibility in all aspects of the business, including warehouse distribution, manufacturing and ecommerce. - Preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.
- Prepare transactions and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded properly and timely.
- Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare information for tax preparation and audits as required.
- Collaborate with Accounting team members and other departments to identify and implement efficiency and process improvements.
- Engage in leadership training and team roundtables.
- Provide guidance and support to fellow co-workers.
- Participate in team and individual projects based on the company initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a business emphasis.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant role or field.
- Confident navigating in different software and Microsoft products.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
