In this role, you will manage our project accounting team and oversee financial processes for various projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. A successful candidate will bring expertise in financial management, a deep understanding of construction accounting, and familiarity with tools like Procore and Sage.Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project accountants, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Directly account for the financial aspects of multiple key construction projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all reporting.
- Coordinate with project teams to provide financial insights that guide project decisions and budgets.
- Utilize Procore and Sage software to streamline financial processes, reporting, and project cost management.
- Assist CFO in developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial statements and project reports to monitor and mitigate risks.
- Assist CFO in collaboration with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for upcoming projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA is highly recommended.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in the construction industry.
- Proven experience with project accounting, budget management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Procore and Sage software is strongly preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with management experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
