1. Ability to follow oral and written directions
2. Preferred previous experience in an institutional setting
3. Knowledge of food preperation , sanitation. and hygienic methods
4. Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more and be able to walk alone , turn, pivot and bend as needed to performall duties listed
5. Demonstrate a working knowledge of universal precautions and the rules that governs hazardous waste and products and blood born pathogens
JOB SUMMARY : The purpose of this postion is to cook adequate and nutritious meals as specified on the menu
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Handling and preparation of food
2. Meeting meal Schedules
3. Avoiding food waste
4. Care of equipment
5. Preperation of food that is palatable and appetizing in appearance
6. Work cooperatively with other staff and departments.
7. Follow all rules regarding hazardous products.
