Duties & Responsibilities PURPOSE OF POSITION: Under general supervision, with latitude for independent judgment and initiative, assists in the planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating of administrative and office operations in a variety of organizational settings and modalities in the delivery of business and management support systems, health care and patient support systems. Integrates these programs, functions and services with Providers Community Care to maximize optimal levels of performance in the coordination of such activities. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists in planning for the service/program through consultation with management and professional staff and other associated health care fields in order to coordinate patient and management objectives. 2. Serves as liaison between department administrative, technical and professional divisions and Central Office management. 3. Evaluates office production, recommends new procedures and/or new forms or methods to improve efficiency of work flow. 4. Reviews analytics and escalates as appropriate to Supervisor. 5. Adheres to uniform workflow, correspondence procedures and style practices. 6. Review and reconcile electronic visit verification. Will escalate to Supervisor based on analytics. 7. Create non-patient facing encounters in Remote Client as needed. 8. Reviews workqueues and assists in communication to Providers of CHHA notifications. 9. Collaborates with Clinical Managers to notify Clinicians for the completion of timely chart documentation. 10. Responsible for notifying direct supervisor when issues arise, i.e., systems issues, difficult staff and situations, inability to complete tasks, etc., as soon as these occur so that proper intervention and/or de-escalation can be instituted. 11. Attend and participate in all staff meetings. 12. Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology or related discipline with one year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity in business management systems, general administration, health care and medical/patient systems administration. or, A satisfactory combination of education, training and experience KNOWLEDGEABLE IN: Strong understanding of the HMO authorization requirement by payer. Knowledgeable in systems navigation including but not limited to all Office Suite products, electronic medical record and private and public payer portals. EPIC H2O Remote Client - preferred but not mandatory. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, OneNote) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum three years, 2 years of experience in home care or hospital or home care registration or managed care coordination of services.
