Integrate these programs with other hospital programs. operations, functions and services with other hospitals and central office sectors to optimal levels of performance in the administration and supervision of such functional activities.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Responsible for staff supervision, performance, disciplinary actions, and development of assignments.•Manages the activities and operations of the Patient Escort Services dispatch desk, receiving calls assignsPES staff to complete the requested calls and monitoring associated activities.•Prepares daily and monthly schedules, insures that all tours are covered properly and maintain staffing levels if call outs are received.•Prepares payroll and overtime sheets for submission weekly.•Coordinates and conducts mandatory and annual department trainings of staff and orienting, training and competency of all new hires.•Prepares annual evaluations for all staff.•Conducts daily rounds throughout the facility that are impacted by Patient Escort Services which will include monitoring of the staff and their performances and assuring the corridors are clear from PES equipment; beds stretchers wheelchairs.•Manage the portable equipment inventory: Stretchers, wheelchairs, beds. Including the prompt reporting of repair issues and terminal cleaning.•Provides assistance to patients/family members complaints and issues. Provides written and/or verbal responses to patient complaints submitted to the department.•Assist the department head in resolving complaints and developing a corrective action.•Assures patient property log books are filled out appropriately in addition to monitoring that all patient property disbursed from the Emergency Department and other units are properly logged in accurately.•Maintain patients property storage areas and mail correspondence for unclaimed property.•Assures all routine daily and monthly reports are disseminated accordingly, i.e.; washing/repairs, equipment inventory, relinquishments, bed damages/rentals, etc.Minimum QualificationsQualification Requirements : 1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology or related discipline with one year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity in business management systems, general administration, health care and medical/patient systems administration; or,2.
