Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Credit Manager to join our fast-paced team. This role is integral to our financial stability and involves managing all aspects of credit, collections, and accounts receivable functions of the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial statements, expenses, income statements, and entries. This role requires a strategic thinker with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for optimizing company revenue.Responsibilities:1. Oversee and manage the entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers.2. Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the credit and collections program and its related activities.3. Monitor and manage the accounts receivable portfolio by tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues in a timely manner.4. Implement and ensure compliance with best practices in credit and collections processes.5. Prepare and present reports detailing the credit and collections activities and performance to senior management.6. Work closely with the sales team to resolve customer disputes and manage credit exposure.7. Conduct financial analysis, including the ability to review an income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.8. Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile transaction disputes and prepare entries.9. Lead and mentor a team of credit and collections specialists, fostering a well-trained and motivated staff.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a credit and collections role3. Proven experience in managing a team and driving performance.4. Strong understanding of financial concepts, including expenses, income statements, and entries.5. Proficient in the use of financial software and systems.6. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.7. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.8. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.10.
