Posting Details Position Information Job Title Assistant Director - Admissions (Data Management) Nature of Work The Assistant Director oversees the strategic integration of data management processes and reporting to support student recruitment activities for the College. Responsible for student recruitment with a specialized focus on international and online students navigating the admission process. In addition, maintains Admissions communications used in recruitment and oversees various aspects of communication generation from prospect to enrolled. Additionally, the Assistant Director serves as the Admissions functional liaison to NESIS (Nebraska Student Information System), representing the college on various committees charged with consistent data reporting. Responsible for attending regular meetings in conjunction with both the University and State College system campuses respectively. Develops and maintains procedures to be used in admissions tracking and reporting. Responsible for implementation and use; and serves as a functional lead for Slate CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and PeopleSoft Student Information System. Fulfills the role of Admissions application and scholarship application Leader. Provides oversight and supervision to three support staff members in the Office of Admissions. Examples of Work Performed
  • Analyze and validate data management processes for reporting.
  • Prepare weekly admission funnel reports.
  • Serve as a Slate (CRM) Captain with other Admissions team members.
  • Provide oversight to the admission application platform for revisions, testing, and opening.
  • Build, test, implement, and train others on PeopleSoft and Slate systems.
  • Assist with coordinating prospect communication flow.
  • Research prospect name purchases and prepare data for upload to Slate (CRM system).
  • Perform daily data reconciliation and maintenance.
  • Assist with onboarding other campus offices to Slate to streamline business processes.
  • Test changes implemented by the University or State College system in multiple environments.
  • Attend monthly meetings and update campus functional leads.
  • Hold regular operational and office staff meetings to provide continuity and informational updates.
  • Test and implement enhancements to the admissions application annually.
  • Serve as a lead and sign off on the implementation of admission changes for WSC.
  • Work with other college departments to create and manage reports.
  • Validate data between PeopleSoft and Slate.
  • Serve as Chair of the WSC Functional Leads Committee.
  • Represent WSC campus to NeSIS (Nebraska Student Information System).
  • Provide supervision to admission processing and front office staff. Conduct annual employee evaluations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Enrollment Management.
